these kinds of anniversaries can be difficult. feel whatever you're feeling, let it wash over you and don't worry whether you have grief, sadness, or joy, or some weird combination of all of them (which is most likely).
she left her pain and misery behind her a year ago today. i know you miss her, and i know she would be glad that you are able to pull the pieces back together and find joy again.
